Grande portale rinascimentale in legno scolpito e intarsiato, area siciliana.

Cappello architettonico aggettante scolpito con fiori, foglie e testa di putto alato centrale. Il cappello poggia su due lesene intarsiate e due capitelli a foglia d'acanto scopliti. Terminano la struttura due basi con rosoni.

Il portale è stato poi reso un'edicola con aggiunte in legno nella parte centrale bassa e ai fianchi per mantenere la stabilità. In origine era un portale poggiante al muro e mantiene originali tutte le sue parti del XVI secolo.

Dimensioni: altezza 266 cm, larghezza al cappello 230 cm, larghezza alla base 210 cm, profondità al cappello 56 cm, profondità alla base 41 cm.

Large Renaissance portal in carved and inlaid wood, Sicilian area.

Projecting architectural hat carved with flowers, leaves and central winged putto head. The hat rests on two inlaid pilasters and two carved acanthus leaf capitals.

The structure ends with two bases with rosettes. The portal was then made into an aedicule with wooden additions in the lower central part and on the sides to maintain stability.

It was originally a portal leaning against the wall and keeps all its original parts from the 16th century.
